Steampunk as a subgenre of fashion and fiction has always fascinated me. Think K-Cos minus the androgynous prodigal child.

The unnecessary brass, the illogical perpetual motion… the grimy coal stained faces contrasted with polished metal components.

Its this sort of Victorian Retro-Futurism that makes me want to build a Zeppelin and wear goggles.
